Pony Express

We are staying off the Interstate Highway system.  This adds time to our schedule but it adds depth to the experiance and enjoyment.  Thus, we cross northern Kansas on Route 36 where we find ourselves following the route of the Pony Express which had it's Eastern terminus in St. Joseph Missouri.  There are signs on the hilltops along the way to remind us.
