In Saint Louis, Missouri, it's Man vs Food

Saint Louis is a foodie destination.  We're determined to share some of the excitement and we've found the #1 item on the Bar-b-que and dessert lists (thanks to Adam Richman).  We eat a two-meat platter of ribs and burnt ends with beans and slaw at Pappy's Smokehouse.
Mike works the smoke at Pappy's Smokehouse shortly after dawn.

Burnt Ends.  Wow!
We pass on the "Big Ben" made famous on Man vs Food.  Then we drive several miles to find Ted Drewe's Frozen Custard stand where we tighten our belts with a banana split.

  1. Yep! But honestly, it was pretty much - soft serve ice cream. We should have tried the Gooey Butter Cake which is also a dish made famous in Saint Louis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gooey_butter_cake
