Transportation

Unique transportation passes the restaurant on a downtown Pune street while we rest between stores on a shopping spree. Most of what we see are scooters and run-down, three-wheeled Tuk-Tuks. The ubiquitous Tuk-Tuk endearingly called the "Indian Ferrari" has three wheels, runs on a two-stroke engine, usually coughs ungodly amounts of incomplete combustion and noxious fumes and is open to the air. These vehicles seem to be little more than a twenty-miles-per-hour riding lawn mower with a covered seat. But we've also seen camels.
