Dhobi Ghat has become somewhat of a tourist destination in Mumbai. Thousands upon thousands of people stay employed in this huge enclave of concrete laundry vats - many of them beating out clothes by hand as its been done for centuries. The most incredible thing is to wonder how they keep track of each item of clothing and return it to its owner - usually within a promised number of hours, hand delivered, all over the city!
