India is enjoying an ecstatic moment having just won the cricket World Cup final against Sri Lanka last night. We couldn't help but participate since every TV in India was tuned to the game and crowds gathered all over the streets glued to TV's turned toward the street from every betel nut stand. The game concluded in dramatic fashion with India hitting two "Boundaries" and capping off the final points with a "Sixer". Paula and I watched the incredible display of fireworks 360 degrees around us from the rooftop terrace of this little hotel in Pune.
As it is, Indian businessmen take pride in pointing out India's greatness to the big American guy (me). Why is America failing so badly? "One word. Hubris." says Utpal, Prabhakar's niece's husband. What hubris!
Yep, yep ... can just imagine ... must be awesome :D
